NAIBA is reinventing the online author database. The new format will include regional authors interested in store visits, but will expand to include any authors interested in call-in events with bookstore reading groups.

MBPA: PMA Publishing University 2008 discount and congratulations!

We'd like to congratulate Christina Downs, of Cross Your Heart Publications, for being the 2008 PMA Publishing University scholarship recipient for MBPA. Every year, PMA awards a scholarship to their Publishing University to one member from each affiliate group. Christine was selected to receive the scholarship for 2008. Christine will be attending PMA's Publishing University from May 27–29, 2008, in Los Angeles, California.

Thank you to everyone who applied for the scholarship. For anyone who is interested in attending the Publishing University, PMA is offering a special discount to members of affiliate groups. MBPA members can save $50 off the Early Bird registration price!
