Individual Membership (Author) - $75.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No recurring payments Authors who are considering becoming independent publishers (self-publishers) may join at this level, with the understanding that they may be excluded from some programs for Publisher level members. (This is, after all, a trade association for publishers, who sometimes need to discuss industry issues without engaging authors, whose interests by nature can be at odds with those of publishers.)

Author members may apply at any time to convert their membership to Publisher level by providing proof that they have become publishers as defined by R.R. Bowker, i.e. providing their Publisher Prefix Number assigned by Bowker. If this occurs, no refunds will be made of previously paid dues, but any excess will be applied, on a pro-rated basis, to the next renewal dues at the Publisher level.

Individual Membership (Publisher) - $35.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No recurring payments Publisher level membership is available to individuals functioning at the executive level of any independent book publishing company holding a Publisher Prefix Number from R.R. Bowker, the sole agency that confers publisher status in the United States.

Organizational membership: 11-20 employees in the publications area - $150.00 (USD) Bundle (up to 20 members) Subscription period: 1 year No recurring payments

Organizational membership: 2 to 10 employees in the publications area - $75.00 (USD) Bundle (up to 10 members) Subscription period: 1 year No recurring payments

Organizational membership: 21 to 50 employees in the publications area - $200.00 (USD) Bundle (up to 50 members) Subscription period: 1 year No recurring payments

Organizational membership: 51 to 100 employees in the publications area - $250.00 (USD) Bundle (up to 100 members) Subscription period: 1 year No recurring payments
