About Us

The MidAtlantic Book Publishers Association is a community of independent publishers located in the Mid-Atlantic area. We welcome all independent and self-publishers in Maryland, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, New Jersey, and Washington, DC.

The MidAtlantic Book Publishers Association (MBPA) has had various incarnations since 1994. We’re a regional affiliate of the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA). MBPA is governed by a voluntary board of directors, and is maintained by active member volunteers. We are committed to “turning the tide for publishers” by advancing the image and supporting the success of independent publishers in an increasingly complex and technologically sophisticated book publishing environment.
